I've been shooting soccer pictures almost every evening and my husband patiently goes with me and helps me with my shoots. But, we got a Saturday off a couple of weeks ago, so he took advantge of it and grabbed the camera gear and shot some Lacrosse. We don't have Lacrosse here, but it looks like a very interesting sport. This is a collage I put together with some of his shots.

Oklahoma Wildflowers
In Oklahoma, the wind seems to blow constantly this time of year. It's easy to use the wind as an excuse not to get outside to enjoy God's wonderful creation! One of which - is wildflowers. The wildflowers are beautiful this time of year... and they are also plentiful! The Indian Paintbrush is one of my favorite Oklahoma Wildflowers so when I saw these I had to take the opportunity to grab my camera and go back to get a few shots.

Mason Wedding
I am working on finishing up the Mason Wedding. It was beautiful. Here is a SHORT version of the wedding slideshow. Now, all I have left to do is create an album, get it approved by the bride and groom and get it ordered and delivered.

And More Engagements....
This is Brandy & Andrew
Their favorite
My Favorite
My Favorite
Andrew's questioning look - which is one I got a lot over
the years.
Andrew is my youngest son. He and Brandy got engaged in December while I was in Japan. They were planning to get married in October, but they got in a bit of a hurry and ended up
getting married on March 9th. So, I guess we could actually call these post-engagement pictures since they are already married. But, they are still planning to have that October wedding.
And - Andrew's Aunt Debbie requested shower invites, so we needed the pictures for that asap.

Love Is In The Air....
This weekend began with a lovely wedding on Friday evening and an engagement session on Saturday, so love is in the air and it seems to go well with these warm spring days.
Here are a few shots from Kristie and Gabe's wedding. We took tons of shots so it may be awhile before I pour through them all, but so far I am liking what I see.
Kristie was a beautiful bride and she had the perfect dress to compliment her slender figure.
And Gabe..... he's a very lucky man!

I'll try to get around to posting some engagements later.

A Precious Gift
Yesterday, in my photography class, we worked on outdoor portraits and these are a couple of my favorites. I've taken this little girl's picture several times in the past and she rarely smiles with teeth - and yesterday, I finally learned what makes her smile. It's talking about her Daddy and their bedtime ritual - in which he tells her how beautiful and precious she is to him. Just talking about her Daddy makes this little girl light up - so I can see that she's a Daddy's girl. And although her Daddy has several daughters, I'm sure that each one knows what a special gift she is. Children are such a blessing! And this one is extra special. Her quiet and gentle spirit is absolutely beautiful, but then, so is everything else about her. She is a precious gift!

Skylie
Skylie is one of my favorite people to take pictures of. She's not only beautiful, but she's very well behaved and she's just an all around pleasure to work with. Her photo shoots always seem to brighten my day!
For Skylie's pictures this year she chose a "rocker girl" theme! Her Daddy, Dave, is a Christian recording artist so music has always been a big part of her life! She's even done a recording or two herself!

Things That Make Me Smile!
I love kids! When I was a kid I always knew I wanted to grow up to be a Mommy! There is just something about the smiling face of a child that makes me smile, too! And - this is a face I just cannot resist. This is my one and only Granddaughter, Grace!

Original Photo from which the Wrap is Made. The colors on the wrap are actually true to the colors on the original photo. It's just hard to take a picture of a picture and get the color perfect .
And - I love pictures! A beautiful photo of just about anything will bring a smile to my face - but when you put my love for photos and my love for kids and this adorable face onto a 16x24 Gallery Wrap - you get something I can't help smiling about!

Anyway - this is what now greets me when I come home! It's hanging on "The Park" wall and I walk right past it when I go from the front door to the kitchen - which means I walk past it several times a day! And so far, every time I've walked past it, it's brought a smile to my face.

It's Soccer Season....
The Rockets
The Eagles
Last night we shot our first three teams of the season! The Sharks, The Rockets, and The Eagles! I always love it when spring soccer season rolls around because by the time it gets here, I am getting tired of being indoors. I'm ready for the long sunny days and I can't wait for flower to be in bloom!
