Coach Pitch Baseball

I've shot this little Coach Pitch team for about three years now, and this little guy just keeps getting cuter! Isn't he a great looking kid? This is his big sister, and she's pretty cute, too! I guess good looks run in the family. The coach's are their parents!
And they take great care of their players. When we shot their team it was about 110 degrees and there is not a drop of shade on the field. It was HOT! And the coaches came prepared with an ice chest full of bottled water and sports drinks. They even offered me a drink!
Now - that's a nice coach!

Softball

It's baseball and softball season so we're staying pretty busy! This is a softball Memory Mate. We allow families who have two children playing on the same team to purchase one package. Then we put both children and both names on the Memory Mates and devide up the individual portraits so they each have a few of their own. These two are twins! This is Kelsey! And this is Kinsley! They are both super cute although they don't look exactly alike. And this is another cute little girl from their team! Kassidy! There were actually two Kassidy's on the team and a lot of names beginning with the letter "K", which might spell Konfusion to the coaches!

Lawton Little Rebels

This is Coach Swanson and his son Dre'lan. Coach Swanson is the coach of the Lawton Little Rebels.
This is the Lawton Little Rebels. They are playing flag football in the league at the YMCA.
I normally don't post a lot of sports pictures, although I do a lot of sports photography. But this team had a very supportive group of parents who said they would like to see their children's pictures on my blog! So - here they are!

It's Soccer Season....

And "The Cowboys" were our first team of the season! Aren't they a cute bunch of soccer players? They also have a pretty good sense of what's going on in the game!
We delivered their pictures to The Big Green and stayed to watch them play! They may be small, but they know what they are doing - and they're pretty good at it!

Fall is for FOOTBALL!

Fall is a busy sports season. For the most part we shoot football and since football teams require more players than other teams they tend to be larger. But, we are also doing our share of soccer and cheer leading.
We did pictures for Almor West last Friday. We've worked with their coach for years and was happy to see that he was still coaching the team, even after his own son moved on to middle school.

If you're a regular reader of my blog, you probably recognize the coach - Robert Newport. I did family portraits for him and his wife recently and they were featured on my blog.

Cheerleading

Cheerleaders are so much fun!

And so cute, too!

This one has a smile that can brighten any room!

Hugh Bish Football

For the last couple of weeks we have been busy shooting sports. We've shot football, soccer and cheerleading and we have volleyball tonight. I've also done a family session and a one year old portrait session complete with a cake smashing, so I'll be updating my blog with those things eventually. But for now.... here is Hugh Bish Football!

This is Bowin Hargis! He's the running back, the kicker and an all around star athlete!

This is the Pee-Wee Team!

And here are the Midgets!

Ft. Sill BEARS

Last night we did pictures for the Ft. Sill BEARS! They were an energetic bunch, but they are also super cute!
And while they wait for soccer practice to start, they also have the opportunity to chase butterflies. We did their pictures beside their practice field and the bushes were covered with beautiful Monarch Butterflies.
I couldn't get one to cooperate and open it's wings, but I did get a couple of nice butterfly shots.

I haven't seen any Monarchs in my butterfly garden at home, so I was happy to see these. This told me there are Monarch's around - so maybe next year?

YMCA Soccer

It's Soccer and Football Season, so life around here is beginning to get busy! We started the week by doing YMCA Soccer!

Aren't the little ones cute?

This is "Joe's" team. Joe is the new sports director at the YMCA and he's doing a great job with the kids.

We're Back To Work!

We are back to work and looking forward to seeing all of our teams and players again. Football and soccer are right around the corner and high school football is in full swing now. Friday night was the Ike vs. LHS game and my husband went out shot that.

And I spent some time Friday night and Saturday shooting the ASA Women's Class D National Championship Softball Tournament!
A second baseman from Kaos catches the ball. Kaos made it to the finals!

A batter from the team Traders hits the ball. The Traders from Memphis, Tn are our new National Champions. Congratulations Traders!

A batter from Team Texas Blast slides into second while players from the Outlaws play defense.
The tournament was great! Lawton Parks and Recreation did a great job with it this year. It was well organized and everything ran smoothly.
Even the weather cooperated by not being quite as hot as it has been!

Almor West Superstars

Abby Newport
This is one of the sweetest little girls in world. She's as well behaved as she is beautiful and I'm kind of sad to see her grow up. Today was her last T-Ball game!
Her Daddy, Robert and her Big Brother Reed are her coaches! I've been taking pictures of Abby and Reed's teams since they were playing YMCA Mighty-Mite Basketball, and it's been fun watching them grow up. It's hard to believe that Reed will be going to middle school this coming fall.

And this is the team - or rather, the players on the team who showed up this morning. They were missing a few players due to vacations and things - but they're the Allstars, so I'm sure they did just fine even though they were a few players short!
