Olivia's Cake Smash!

 Olivia is ONE!

 And a First Birthday simply has to be

celebrated with a Cake Smash!

 So she smashed a cake!

And... she looked adorable while doing it!



River is Turning ONE!

River is turning ONE, so we did his One Year Old Pictures!

Isn't this precious?

He's a sweet little boy, but it's kind of hard to see him grow up. I don't think his Momma is planning any more children and it will be a little sad seeing her without a baby in her arms. She's such a good Mommy! And she has such beautiful children. And they are all so well behaved.

But in today's world it is hard to afford a house full of kids. Things ARE getting expensive!

But, kids are worth it! Nothing brings a smile to your face faster than seeing joy in the face of an infant or toddler. There is just something contagious about their laughter.

I love doing One Year Old sessions! I try to get a few good shots and a lot of facial expressions and then I like to let the little one dig into their cake!



We call this a Cake Smashing Session because by the end of the session the cake is pretty much destroyed and the birthday boy or girl is a mess!



But, it is so much fun, and the pictures will make life long memories!

I was really impressed with the love I saw in this little family. When you see relationships that work so well you get a feeling that God had something to do with bringing them together. I got that feeling with this little family. And I'm excited to meet their newest addition which is due in May.

Time To Celebrate....

It seems like just yesterday when I went to the hospital to do her Hello Baby session, and now Miss Kenlee is turning a year old. They grow up so fast! To celebrate her first birthday, we did a cake smashing session.... and Miss Kenlee is the best little cake smasher I have ever seen!
