Brilyn's Victory Over the Cake!

For First Birthday's, I like to do a cake smash in the studio!

And - Brilyn is quite the cake smasher!

Poor cake!

It looked good for a little while.... but we all know that good looks don't last! It's what's on the inside that counts and that cake is now inside.... Brilyn!

 Brilyn's Mom, Brandy wanted to use pictures of Brilyn for party decorations for her First Birthday Party, so we took a few!

 We will still be doing another session, though!

 We will need to do a cake smash, but first we have to bake a cake!

I wanted to do a few pictures of Brilyn so I would have them to make Christmas Ornaments with. I did these so her pictures would match those of Grace & Olivia and then decided to use a picture I had taken previously instead.

Brilyn at Nine Months!

This is Brilyn at Nine Months!

Isn't she just adorable? She's very curious and loves looking at the pretty girl in the mirror.

She has been such a blessing! And as much as I'd like to freeze time and keep her just the way she is, I look forward to seeing what all she will learn and accomplish in the future. Life is good when you have little ones to love!

Can you believe this girl is now 7 months old?I wish we could just put on the brakes and sloooooow down!

This sweet little thing is Brilyn! She's helping me test out a new backdrop - but the backdrop is creased from being packed for shipping, so we are letting it hang.

I edited out the creases and we will do her "real" pictures in a few days... but I couldn't wait to share these!Aren't they precious?

Summer Fun!

It's summer and I have just about finished my sports teams. So, I am planning to spend a lot of time hanging out with these three and relaxing in the pool!

I'll be doing occasional portraits - but July and August are normally my slow months, so I take advantage of being slow and enjoy myself.... and my three favorite girls! Hopefully, we'll have lots of play time!

Brilyn

Brilyn has pictures done on the 23rd of every month. She wears a white onsie with a sticker on it that tells how old she is and sits in a hat box. The hat box will give us something for size comparison as she grows.

And while she is here I like to do something else. So, for June, I did this!Isn't she just darling?

She was wearing a shirt, but she spit up on it so we pulled it off and replaced it with a long string of pearls.

I think I like the pearls better, anyway!

Brilyn... Four Months!

Brilyn is already four months old!

Babies sure have a way of making time pass quickly. They grow up so fast!

I wish we could keep them little just a little bit longer!But, Brilyn wouldn't like that. She doesn't like being little. She is always trying to be BIG! She doesn't like to be left by herself. She likes to be entertained and played with! And even though she's much too young to be sitting up, she's getting there. She tries.... and can sit for a minute or so!

And she's found her little toes!

I wonder how long it will be before those little toes find their way into her mouth?
