While Andrew and Brandy were here with Brilyn, we captured a few Family Portraits!

Aren't they a cute little family!
Brilyn likes it best when Daddy is holding her. She even lights up when she hears his voice!

And I think this might be my favorite. It shows how much this Mommy and Daddy adore their little girl.

Brilyn at 12 Days!

Andrew and Brandy brought Brilyn over for pictures.
Brilyn wasn't really in the mood for pictures, but we did get a few.

We even got one with her eyes open!

She's such a little sweetie!

I like this one because it shows how little she is. When her Daddy holds her head in his hands her little feet don't even come half way to his elbow.

I always wished my babies could stay little just a little bit longer..... and I'm hoping Brilyn will. I love the newborn stage and it simply doesn't last long enough.

Brilyn Faith... One Week

Brilyn came over yesterday so we took a few pictures!
Isn't she sweet!

She like having her hands near her face.

And she's too small for all of my baskets. This basket is normally used to store things in as it's normally too small for a baby!

But, Brilyn is an itty bitty girly girl!

Hopefully, by being on the small side we can enjoy the newborn stage just a little bit longer! Babies are so sweet when they are little.... and they never seem to stay little quite long enough!

Just A Cute Story!

Not too long ago, Heather, Grace and I went shopping in Oklahoma City. When we returned, Grace and I weren't quite ready to say goodbye, so Grace just came home with me and spent the night. We had a great time. We played tea party, read books, played blocks and read more books. We snuggled up and got a good night's sleep and enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse over home made blueberry waffles, with blueberry syrup and whipped topping.

And we played some more.

Then it was time to fix lunch, so I decided on cheese pizza and broccoli. While I was preparing lunch Grace told me, in her sweet little two year old voice, "I want lick spoon."

I wasn't exactly sure why she wanted to lick a spoon, but I saw no harm in it, so I gave her one. She looked at it, with a look of confusion and said, "Oh, no! Nothing on it."

So, I asked, "What is supposed to be on it?"

To which she replied, "Cookie dough!"

"But, I don't have any cookie dough. I'm making pizza and broccoli!"

To which Grace had the answer. "Make some! Make cookie dough, Grandma!"

So, we then stirred up a batch of chocolate chip cookies, so we would have some cookie dough and Grace would have a spoon to lick. And it was a BIG SPOON with a rather large clump of cookie dough on it.

And not a single cookie went to waste.

There is much to be learned from the problem solving skills of a two year old!

Lincoln

This is Lucas' little brother Lincoln!
Lincoln is an active little one year old, so he offered my students quite a challenge.

One year olds are busy, and keeping them in front of the camera can be quite a challenge.

But, the effort is well worth it. I think we got some really cute shots of this little guy!

And don't you just love his red curls?

Lucas

This is Lucas!

Lucas was the second model my class photographed.

He and his younger brother came all the way from Oklahoma City to have pictures taken. I sure hope they love their pictures!

This particular picture is well posed and perfectly framed. I think it's my favorite, because everything is technically "right."

This one is pretty cute, too!

And Lucas has a smile that could someday make him famous!

Don't you just love it?

I especially like it here. I love a child to look happy and full of life like Lucas does in this picture.

Lucas was a great model and I think my class did a great job of capturing his little personality!
