Gracie's Two Year Old Pictures

I finally had a chance to do Gracie's two year old pictures in her cowgirl outfit!

Isn't she a little doll?

Here she is trying to rope!

She tried to rope Abby, but much like a calf, Abby ran away. I think her Uncle Billy is going to need to give her a few lessons.

I love this shot. I know she's not looking at the camera. She's looking at Abby - who kept getting in the way. It seems that she thinks it's her job to make sure Grace is safe and happy!

Here she is just giggling and being silly! This is one of the few times I've seen any resemblance to her Uncle Andrew. I've seen him give someone two "thumbs up" many a time! But - this is the first time I've noticed Grace doing it. What could it possibly mean?

Brandy & Andrew's Maternity Session

Andrew is an artist and Brandy has a great appreciation for art..... so I tried to do an "artsy" maternity session. I used low key, dramatic lighting and converted most of the photos to black and white!

Of course, we did them in color, also. I just prefer them in black & white, so that is what I am posting.

Isn't this one BEAUTIFUL?

I kind of like the selective color, here, too!

And - I am super excited about this baby! She is my second grandchild and she is due in early February! Just one month from today!

Brandy and Andrew are going to be amazing parents! They are so much in loved and so thrilled to be having this baby.

I have a feeling January will seem like one long, slooooooow month!

But once this little girl makes her appearance, it will be worth it all! And I'll be posting newborn pictures!

He's such a classic little gentleman, I thought I'd see how he looked in black & white.

The three balloons are for his birthday! These are Jack's Three Year Old pictures!

And Jack was kind enough to test out my new prop! I think it's going to be a fun one - and it can be used both indoors and out.

John Deere Tough!

Jack is all boy!

No doubt about it!

He's energetic. He's tough! He's constantly on the go!

But he can be sweet and gentle if the occasion calls for it. That's one of the many things I love about this little guy! He's as tough as they come, but when he has the opportunity to hold or help care for his baby brother, he knows how to be gentle and sweet..... and protective!

Isn't it amazing how we can see character developing in a child at such a young age?

Me.... personally, I am feeling very grateful this CHRISTmas season! I am expecting to have my husband, all of my children and all of my grandchildren under one roof enjoying the day together.

What could be better?

CHRISTmas is a time for family! A time to reflect on all of the blessings we've received over the years, and a time to bless others!

This Nativity Ornament was a gift.... given to me by my father in law last CHRISTmas! It had belonged to my mother in law who we lost in November of 2008. It now hangs in a prominent place on my CHRISTmas tree.... a constant reminder of her.... and of the REAL meaning of this wonderful blessed season!

Christmas Elves - The Sequel

The little Christmas Elves that came to see me not too long ago were back the other day without their cousins. Aren't they cute?

This is Caden! I like this picture because it shows his personality. And - he's got a lot of personality! He's almost always all smiles!

This is Colin! Colin is a bit more serious than Caden. He's smart and kind and loving.... and sweet!

Caden is the wild child....but Oh, he is fun!

And here are both of them. Colin looks soooooo big! I can't believe how much he's grown in the last year. Kids just grow up too fast!

The Quinn Family

Sunday afternoon I did pictures for the Quin Family at the Mattie Beal Historical Home. It was a time that worked well for them, because everyone could be there.

I think this is my favorite picture.

I don't know that it is the best, but in it I see a mother who is radiant with love for her boys!

If you can SEE love.... this is what I think it might look like!

I like this one, also! It's more formal and I like that, but I am still partial to the look of love!

And - isn't this family cute?

Their kids are adorable! They were also very well behaved!

And here are the Grandparents with all of the Grand Children.

Grand Children are such a blessing. In Psalms we are told that one of the blessings of a God-fearing man is to see thy children's children.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel. Psalm 128:6

Let us never forget what a blessing it is to be able to spend time with our families during the Christmas season. And let us remember that our children and grand children are blessings from God Himself. Let us give thanks for what we have and enjoy our loved ones while we can. After all, not everyone has received the Blessings on the House of the God-fearing as they are described in Psalms 128.
