Bravyn Thompson

This is Bravyn Thompson! He is River's big brother and he just turned a year old. In these photos he is wearing a pair of Air Force Coveralls and he is holding the propellor of an airplane that was shot down years ago by his great grandpa, Lt. Col. Bill Patterson. I don't know the whole story, but I've had the propellor waiting for a perfect opportunity to use as a photo prop. Today, we had that opportunity. And, I think we created an heirloom. This should hang on someone's wall for years to come!

  1. Patty you have created an heirloom for many. I am so impressed and proud of these photos. I have showed them to many of my family & friends. There is a Paul Harvey "The Rest of the Story" behind them. The prop is a real propellor from a radio controlled target drone. The B-47E (6 engine jet bomber) had two 20mm cannons in the tail. The copilot was the gunner. During my training I shot down the drone and the propellor survived. It was given to me as a trophy.
