 Kids simply grow up too fast!

 I simply can't believe that this little guy is

already turning ONE!

 But... he is definately acting like a

ONE YEAR OLD!

 He's learning to walk and to talk and he's

making lots of cute, cute faces!

And he's learning how to use his good looks and

his handsome smile to get just what he wants!

How could you say no to that face?

Madison - One Year!

This is Madison! She just turned ONE and she came in for One Year Old Pictures!

Isn't she just too cute?

She's got Big Beautiful Blue Eyes!

And Beautiful Skin!

 And an adorable little smile!

But, keeping her in front of the camera to capture all of that was a bit of a challenge!

She's a busy little girl!

But then, at ONE, you're supposed to be busy. Life is, after all, a learning experience, and the more you do the more you learn!

And Madison is going to be a smart one!

Sawyer Cash.... ONE YEAR!

 Sawyer just celebrated his First Birthday!

 Can you believe it? He's walking... talking.... and DANCING!

 He's gotten so BIG! And he can do so many new things!

 He's super cute, too!

And to celebrate his birthday.... he got to smash his Elmo Cake!

For First Birthday's, I like to do a cake smash in the studio!

And - Brilyn is quite the cake smasher!

Poor cake!

It looked good for a little while.... but we all know that good looks don't last! It's what's on the inside that counts and that cake is now inside.... Brilyn!

 Brilyn's Mom, Brandy wanted to use pictures of Brilyn for party decorations for her First Birthday Party, so we took a few!

 We will still be doing another session, though!

 We will need to do a cake smash, but first we have to bake a cake!

Haley Turns One!

This little girl was such a sweetie pie! I absolutely loved working with her!

She is just one of those babies that you really just hate to see leave!

We did One Year Old Pictures and a Cake Smash, and she was absolutely adorable! It's nice to see a pleasant, happy baby who is secure in the knowledge that she is loved. And this little girl is just that. Loved and cherished and absolutely adored by her Mommy... just as a baby should be!

Tenley

This is Tenley!

Tenley would rather play than have her picture taken, but then, what is a one year old supposed to do? Playtime is also a time of discovery and learning, so we had a playful photo session.

Tenley's Daddy is a Firefighter, so we had to get this shot! Hopefully, it'll make Daddy proud!And Tenley played with this little step while I took many of these pictures. She climbed up, she climbed down and she moved the step from here to there and climbed up and down again.And... she made several really cute little faces while doing it! I couldn't resist putting them into this collage!

His Daddy is in the Army right now and deployed. His Momma is managing her three boys just fine as most Army wifes do.... but what a sacrafice. Can you imagine having to be away from THIS?

I think we often overlook the little things when we think about deployment. And it's the little things that really make it so hard to be away. First smiles, first steps, first words, open house at school, soccer games, football games and birthday parties. Helping with baths, tucking little ones in and goodnight kisses...I'm grateful for our soldiers and their sacrifices.And for Alexander!

Shooting his pictures was a real blessing! And I hope his Daddy gets to see and enjoy them all!

Alexander just turned one, so we celebrated with a cake smash!

But first, we did some "clean" pictures! He actually prefered the balloons over the cake!

And he was soooooo sweet and lovable! I wanted to keep him. I'll share a few more pictures of him soon.
