Smith Family Photos

 This is the Smith Family!
 Aren't they cute and colorful?
I just love fall family portraits!
Even though we don't get as colorful
a fall as a lot of areas.
We can try to make the most
of what we get!

Thompson Family

Here are more pictures from the
Thompson Family's
Portrait Session!
Aren't they a good looking family?
 They're a good family, too!
These kids are some of the most well
behaved children you will ever meet.
And well behaved children are evidence of
good parenting. One well behaved child might
not be. And someone could probably be fortunate
enough to have two naturally good ones!
But, when a family has four children
and they are ALL well behaved
it's simply proof that the parents
are doing something right.
These kiddos have a great Mom!
And it shows!

The Smith Family

When Rayelyn and Cayden were here for pictures
we also took a few family shots. We didn't take many.
It was sprinkling and we were wet and cold and wanted
to get Cayden into the studio before he got tired of cooperating.
He did great, but you can only expect so much
from a One Year Old!
And... all they were wanting was one beautiful updated
family portrait.
So we got this one!

Baby Laney!

This is Laney with her family!
Isn't she an absolute doll? She is all smiles and I just loved working with her.
Here she is with her family!
With her Mommy!
With her Daddy!
And with her big brother, who she adores!
It kind of looks like he adores her, too!
And with Daddy again!
Laney is such a beautiful bright eyed baby. It was a pleasure to meet her and have an opportunity to work with her family.

Unique Family Photos for a Unique Family

This is the Thompson Family!
They wanted something a little unique for their family portrait session this year, so we visited a few old abandoned buildings to try to come up with something that was uniquely "them".
Dave Thompson is a youth minister and musician and he and his wife Shana are super cool, so we needed some cool pictures to fit their style.
Their youngest two kiddos are just 1 and 2 years old, so posing was a bit of a challenge. They're good kids, but posing for pictures in places they'd rather explore is a bit much to ask of any little one.
But.... aren't they cute!
Shana is an excellent Mom and her kids are about as well behaved as you will ever see. I love doing pictures for them!
We did get to stop for fun from time to time, too!

The Smith Family

It's that time again!
Time for new family pictures and new Christmas Cards!
New photos are even more important when you have new family members! Brycen makes a wonderful addition to the Smith family.... don't you think?
Four faces smiling at the same time!
And I really wanted this shot, but Brycen wasn't exactly happy to lay in the grass. Now that he's learned to sit, I think laying down has lost it's appeal. But.... it only took a couple of minutes and then we were off to more adventures.
Braylon and Brycen! Aren't they handsome!

Bobby and Family

Here is Bobby, again! This time with his family!
Can't you see that he is loved?
I love it when parents LOVE their kids! And this kiddo is LOVED! :-)

Family Portraits in the 100 Degree Heat!

This family chose to do their family portraits in the 100 Degree heat!I think they turned out beautiful, though.... don't you? They wanted to do pictures with their son, who only stays with them during the summer months! And in Oklahoma, the summer months are HOT!But, I think getting this face in their pictures was well worth waiting for. He's super handsome.... don't you think? And the man of the house will soon be deploying - so I thought this dreamy pose might be nice to look at while he's away. No matter how far the Army sends him, I'm sure his wife and son will be on his mind!

An Old Photo Session

This is an OLD photo session! This little girl is now about 2 1/2 years old. This was a "deployment session". I do free sessions (based on availability) for families with a deployed parent and often make a DVD slideshow of some of the images to send to the parent who is deployed.
When this session was done Briyanna's Daddy was deployed.Isn't she cute? I saw her the other day and she's still cute!I ran into this family again while shooting pictures for the flag football team that Thairique is now playing on.And due to a move shortly after these pictures were done, they never got a chance to order any prints and they asked it I still had the pictures.
I looked and I looked and had about given up when I finally found them stored on an old hard drive. So, yes.... I still have the files! All of them! So, maybe now, Briyanna's photo albums can be updated!

Andrew, Brandy & Brilyn

While Andrew and Brandy were here with Brilyn, we captured a few Family Portraits!

Aren't they a cute little family!
Brilyn likes it best when Daddy is holding her. She even lights up when she hears his voice!

And I think this might be my favorite. It shows how much this Mommy and Daddy adore their little girl.

The Quinn Family

Sunday afternoon I did pictures for the Quin Family at the Mattie Beal Historical Home. It was a time that worked well for them, because everyone could be there.

I think this is my favorite picture.

I don't know that it is the best, but in it I see a mother who is radiant with love for her boys!

If you can SEE love.... this is what I think it might look like!
I like this one, also! It's more formal and I like that, but I am still partial to the look of love!

And - isn't this family cute?

Their kids are adorable! They were also very well behaved!

And here are the Grandparents with all of the Grand Children.

Grand Children are such a blessing. In Psalms we are told that one of the blessings of a God-fearing man is to see thy children's children.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel. Psalm 128:6

Let us never forget what a blessing it is to be able to spend time with our families during the Christmas season. And let us remember that our children and grand children are blessings from God Himself. Let us give thanks for what we have and enjoy our loved ones while we can. After all, not everyone has received the Blessings on the House of the God-fearing as they are described in Psalms 128.
