Oklahoma Wildflowers

In Oklahoma, the wind seems to blow constantly this time of year. It's easy to use the wind as an excuse not to get outside to enjoy God's wonderful creation! One of which - is wildflowers. The wildflowers are beautiful this time of year... and they are also plentiful! The Indian Paintbrush is one of my favorite Oklahoma Wildflowers so when I saw these I had to take the opportunity to grab my camera and go back to get a few shots.

  2. I've always wanted to see the wildflowers out west. SO pretty! Thanks for visiting my blog. I wish I could tell you the variety of the tree, but all I know is that it's a crabapple. It's about 10 years old. I think....I just love it! It doesn't make a mess, like the older varieties of crabapples. I wish that I would have planted more trees when we first moved here. In my mind it seems too late now...like I'm too old...isn't that silly? Hope you have a wonderful day!
