Announcing A New Blog

Since so much of my life revolves around my grandchildren - and I don't really feel like personal snapshots belong on my business photography blog, I've decided to start a personal blog.

I've named it "Mud Pies and Tea Parties" because making mud pies and having tea parties are fairly common activities around our house.

So - watch for my first post - about Grace's 3rd Birthday - tomorrow!

Billy & Alyssa's Wedding Album

I've been busy, busy, busy, so I haven't had a lot of time for blogging lately. Hopfully, I'll get things updated soon.

But - until then, I thought I'd share a recent project I've been working on.

My son, Billy, and his beautiful bride, Alyssa, were married on December 17th. Since then, I've been working on wedding photos - and have finally finished a 1st Draft of their album. I couldn't get the preview from the album to show on my blog, so I've just uploaded the pages. The album itself is BEAUTIFUL. It has a brown ostrich skin leather cover with black accents and a photo on the cover. To see the real thing displayed in a book like style you can go to:

The Miller's

This is the Miller Family

They live right next door and they are great neighbors! And - they have two sweet little girls that are just the right ages to play with our girls!

This is the baby, Gabriella! She's so pretty and has the brightest eyes!

And this is Isabella! We love playing with her. She's kind and nice and is such a joy to have over. She likes to play with Grace in the pool. We're going to have so many fun filled summer days with these two! :-)

This is Brycen's First Christmas!

I especially love his shy smiles!

And his big contagious smiles. I love the way a baby can smile and cause joy to completely fill a room.

Another Christmas Card

Here is another Christmas Card!

I first met Iralynn when she was a newborn and she came in for newborn pictures.

Now she's 6 months old and just look at her! She's a little doll! She's also a very pleasant baby girl and so full of happy faces and expressions!

And she totally loves herself!

This was sooooo cute! We put her down, hoping to get some cute shots of her looking at herself, but she just couldn't resist kissing that pretty girl in the mirror. She did this over and over again. It was just too cute!

And don't you just love all of her little happy faces!

I'm so glad we got lots of pictures of that adorable gummy smile before her top teeth came in. I'm sure it will be adorable with teeth, too.... but these are smiles we won't want to forget!

Haley Turns One!

This little girl was such a sweetie pie! I absolutely loved working with her!

She is just one of those babies that you really just hate to see leave!

We did One Year Old Pictures and a Cake Smash, and she was absolutely adorable! It's nice to see a pleasant, happy baby who is secure in the knowledge that she is loved. And this little girl is just that. Loved and cherished and absolutely adored by her Mommy... just as a baby should be!
